Michael Monaco was
injured in a car accident in 1979 at the age of 16.
During extensive therapy at Kessler rehabilitation
Hospital in West Orange, New Jersey, Michael had to
learn to sign checks with his mouth. A few years
later, that pen was replaced with a paint brush.
Since then, Michael has been in a number of exhibitions all over the the world as a member of The Mouth and Foot Painters Association. His work has been reproduced in China, South Africa, India, Brazil, and the United States. He has been featured on CNBC, The WB, WNBC and WABC TV.
